Frequently Asked Questions
Is this Different from Other Train the Trainer Courses?
The train the trainer model is recognised as an industry standard for professionals who train others in industry. This training is for therapists and while some of the psychology is similar training therapists is far more complex and requires additional information. The other difference is the cost of this course is significantly less making it affordable for therapists.
It may surprise you that there are more skills needed to be an effective trainer than being a therapist.
How Many Years Therapy Experience do I need to be a Trainer?
There is no magic figure because it depends on the number of clients you have had, the range of issues you have worked with and how successful you have been resolving client problems. As a general rule you will have been doing therapy for a number of years and built up a client base from referrals and are ready for the next step of being a trainer.
Just attending someones therapy training and copying it with little experience is not the approach to take. Copyright needs to be respected and as you build your therapy skills you will want to express yourself differently and add value with your own ideas and information based on train the trainer.
